Most grantees have no comms staff and no video budget, and the ones working overseas are the hardest to film. We train them, film them where the work happens with vetted local crews, and hand you one story library for your board, your trustees and your next round.

Most grantees are small teams stretched across programs, often in places a film crew never goes. They're asked to report outcomes, raise matching funds and grow beyond your grant, with no one on staff who can turn the work into something people will watch. So the proof stays in PDFs, your board reads spreadsheets, and the next donor never hears about it.
“It's very hard for a nonprofit to... succinctly say what they do and the impact that they're making.”
“We had none of it captured before.”
Worldreader had no family stories on camera. We filmed in Nairobi, Kilifi, Johannesburg, Cape Town and Lima with local crews in every country. The stories now go into board pre-reads, donor updates and reading-challenge promos in English, Kiswahili and Spanish.

A live 60-minute Zoom session for your whole grantee cohort, wherever they are. No cost to you or your grantees.

We film your grantees where the work happens, in-country, with vetted local crews from our network of 20,000 creators.

Ongoing support so grantees keep telling stories after the shoot: they film on their phones, our editors do the rest.
Stories only matter if they show up where decisions get made. We deliver the pieces around the films too, all from the same shoots.
Send your grantee list and the stories your board keeps asking about.
Your grantees learn the basics, and we learn who's ready to film and what they need.
Local crews film in-country. Our editors cut stories for each grantee and one portfolio film for you.
Grantees fundraise with their stories. You bring the portfolio film to your board and trustees.
Watsi came to us with no dedicated video team and a handful of one-off videos. We set up a standing partnership instead: Cambodia first, then a new birthing center in the Gulu region of northern Uganda, then a clinic in Medellín. In Uganda, Watsi's own staff conducted the interviews, so patients were talking to people they already trusted.
That's the kind of capacity most grantees never get on their own.

Yes. One live 60-minute Zoom session for your grantee cohort, at no cost to you or your grantees. If some grantees want more help afterwards, we quote it separately.
Usually not. We hire vetted local crews from our network of 20,000 creators and brief them on every shoot. That's how we've filmed in Kenya, South Africa, Peru, Uganda, Cambodia and South Sudan.
We plan every shoot around consent and dignity. Where it helps, interviews are led by people the subjects already trust, like Watsi's own staff in northern Uganda.
You and your grantees own the finished files and the raw footage.
Tell us about your portfolio. We'll start with a free session for your grantees and come back with a fixed scope if you want more.
