It's in your permit

Public education isn't optional. It's a permit condition.

Municipal stormwater (MS4) permits require a public education and outreach program, and water systems must notify customers about lead and unknown service lines. Many towns meet this with a brochure on a website. Short videos reach more residents.

×

A brochure nobody reads

The PDF checks the box. Residents never open it.

×

A report due every year

You need outreach you can count and cite.

×

No one on staff to film

Public works and water teams run the system, not a camera.

In their words

Small teams and public bodies, in their own words.

Randi at The Center for Mind-Body Medicine saw a rural county respond to a local videographer. Zsirai at Central Arizona Shelter Services gave us no script and liked the plain-language narration we wrote. And for a commission of the Connecticut General Assembly, we filmed seven voices and cut 20 short videos from one shoot.

Good Power: flood and storm stories, told by residents

For Good Power's climate series, local creators filmed in communities hit by hurricanes, floods, wildfires and a deep freeze, interviewing business owners, farmers and residents in their own words. The series ran to 105 videos across four regions. For a commission of the Connecticut General Assembly, we filmed seven voices and cut 20 short videos from one shoot.

Questions

Questions towns and utilities ask us

Tap a question. Each answer comes with a 20-second video.

Is the free session really free?+

Yes. The Zoom session and the three videos our editors cut from it cost nothing. No contract, no card, and you keep every file with no obligation to buy anything afterwards. Book your free session and see your story on screen.

Book my free session →
What happens on the free session?+

You pick one person close to your work, and our producer interviews them live over Zoom for forty-five minutes while we record. Our editors then turn that conversation into three finished, captioned videos for your website, your social channels and your next appeal. All you have to do is show up, so book your free session.

Book my free session →
We're a public agency. How do we buy this?+

We make it simple. We write the scope and invoice to line up with your grant's budget line, and public agencies buy through their usual quote, bid or cooperative contract process. Bring your award terms to your free session and we'll match the scope to them.

Book my free session →
Can one project cover several towns?+

Yes. We produce one strong master, then deliver a version for every grantee, chapter, town or campus with its own name, logo, language and call to action. The core message stays consistent, and your free session is where we map out every version.

Book my free session →
We don't have a camera-ready spokesperson. Who goes on camera?+

Anyone whose story moves people: your director, a program lead, a volunteer, someone your program served, or a grantee overseas joining from a phone. Our producer guides every answer, so nobody needs camera experience or a script. Bring your people to a free session and we'll handle the rest.

Book my free session →
Can you make versions in the languages our residents speak?+

Yes. Interviews run in whatever language the speaker is most comfortable in, and every video ships with subtitles plus any second language you need, from Spanish and French to Swahili, Arabic and Haitian Creole. Tell us your audiences on your free session and we'll plan every version.

Book my free session →
How long until we get the videos?+

Your three free videos land in your inbox within two weeks of your session, with a simple review link if you want a change. For bigger shoots, we plan backwards from your gala, board meeting or appeal date. Tell us the date on your free session.

Book my free session →
Who owns the videos?+

You do. Your organization owns the finished videos and all of the raw footage, including everything we record on your free session. Use them on any channel, in any report, for as long as you like.

Book my free session →
What does it cost after the free session?+

Whatever comes next is scoped to exactly what you need, from a single film to a steady stream of videos for every program, and you get the price in writing before any work starts. No surprise change orders and no pressure. Your free session shows you what that scope should be.
