These terms are the agreement between Happy Productions, LLC (“Happy Productions”, “we”, “us”) and the person or organization that signs up for the Monthly Partnership (“Client”, “you”). By clicking the payment button on our checkout, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, if you sign up for an organization, that organization.
a. One virtual production. Each billing month you get one (1) virtual production: a remote recording session, held over video call, directed live by a Happy Productions producer while you or your team record on your own devices. You schedule the session at a time that works for you within the billing month.
b. Unlimited video edits. We edit as many videos as you request during the billing month, using footage from your virtual production and footage you send us. Each edit request can use up to ten (10) minutes of source footage. We work on one request at a time: we start the next request once the current one is delivered and approved, unless you pause the current edit to start another.
c. Formats for every platform. Edits include captions and the sizes you need for the platforms you post on.
d. AI disclosure. We use AI tools to automate parts of our workflow, such as transcribing interviews, organizing footage, captioning and assembling first cuts. If any part of a video (visuals, narration or edits) is generated, enhanced or materially changed with AI tools, we will say so clearly in the video or its credits.
This plan is video editing plus one virtual production a month. It does not include:
These are available under our yearly production agreements. Ask us if you want to upgrade.
a. Month to month. The partnership starts on the day you pay and renews automatically every month on that same date until you cancel. There is no minimum term and no long-term contract.
b. Cancel anytime. You can cancel at any time yourself, in your billing dashboard at https://billing.stripe.com/p/login/4gM9ATdeW0LPaUB58Q8AE01 (sign in with the email you paid with) or through the billing link in your receipt emails. The dashboard is also where you update your payment method and download invoices. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing month you are in. You keep everything you have paid for until then, and you are not charged again.
c. Our right to end the partnership. We may end the partnership with fourteen (14) days’ written notice, or right away if you materially breach these terms and do not fix the breach within fourteen (14) days of our notice. If we end it without cause partway through a billing month, we refund the unused part of that month.
a. Price. The Monthly Partnership costs $995 USD per month. Your card or other payment method is charged when you sign up and again on the same date each month.
b. Failed payments. If a payment fails, we will let you know. Work pauses until payment goes through.
c. Price changes. We will give you at least thirty (30) days’ notice by email before any price change takes effect. You can cancel before then.
d. No refunds. Fees for a billing month that has started are not refundable, regardless of how much of the month’s services you use or how the content performs.
e. No roll over. A virtual production you do not use in a billing month does not carry over to later months and is not refunded or credited.
You own the footage. All raw footage, project files and finished edits we create for you under these terms belong to you once the billing month they were made in has been paid. We will not publish them without your written permission. We may keep copies for our records and to keep working on your requests.
You confirm that you have the rights to any footage, music, logos and other materials you send us, and permission from the people who appear in your footage to use it the way you plan to.

Each party will use the other’s confidential information (including scripts, ideas, plans, donor or customer information and business information) only to carry out these terms, will not share it with third parties, and will take reasonable care to protect it. This continues for one (1) year after the partnership ends.

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and each party’s total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid in the three (3) months before the claim.
Neither party is in breach for a delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control (such as a strike, riot, fire, war, government action, storm, flood or act of God). The affected party will perform as soon as reasonably practicable. If the delay lasts more than sixty (60) days, the other party may end the partnership.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute cannot be resolved within ten (10) days of written notice, it will be settled by a single arbitrator in Connecticut under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, and the award can be enforced under Connecticut law.
Neither party may assign these terms without the other’s written consent, except that Happy Productions may assign them as part of a merger, reorganization, consolidation or acquisition.
We may update these terms with at least thirty (30) days’ notice by email; the update applies from your next billing month, and you can cancel before then. These terms are the entire agreement about the Monthly Partnership and replace any earlier statements about it. Accepting them electronically at checkout has the same effect as signing them.
