Heifer International is the category-defining global development nonprofit, operating in 21 countries and supporting over 36 million families since 1944. Heifer works at the intersection of agriculture, economic empowerment, and community-led development — helping families achieve sustainable self-reliance on their own terms.
Heifer wanted to move from traditional appeal-style video toward a documentary-grade, multi-country story library. The goal: fewer, better, longer pieces that hold viewers past the scroll, carry a celebrity host (Uzo Aduba) with editorial weight instead of vanity framing, and feed recurring-donor conversion funnels across international markets.
We shipped documentary field production across three countries on one visual grammar. Honduras (Feb 2026): on-site in Comayagua with director Dustin Supencheck and founder Atdhe Trepca. Nigeria: the "Are You Happy" × Heifer campaign with Uzo Aduba — deployed as a guide inside real field scenes, not as a studio host. Kenya: production windowed around Heifer's readiness with consultant Kaelyn Randolph. Every piece was cut for where it was going to live — US Facebook, Nigeria WhatsApp, Kenya YouTube — because one master edit served to every market is how nonprofits waste impressions.
Heifer remains under contract and actively renewing across Honduras, the Uzo Aduba campaign arc, and Kenya planning. The multi-country system is validated — three continents, one directorial voice, three local teams. Campaign libraries are sequenced for donor-acquisition funnels rather than one-off event spikes. Detailed view and donation-attribution metrics are reserved for direct client conversations under NDA.
