The Innocence Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to exonerating individuals who have been wrongfully convicted and advocating for systemic criminal justice reform. Founded in 1992, the organization uses DNA evidence and legal expertise to overturn wrongful convictions while working to address the underlying causes of injustice within the legal system.
The Innocence Project sought to increase awareness about the flaws in the criminal justice system and highlight the life-changing impact of their work. They aimed to foster greater public understanding, engage new audiences, and drive advocacy for reform through compelling storytelling.
Filming in Florida, Pennsylvania, and New York, we produced powerful videos featuring exonerees sharing their experiences and insights from the Innocence Project’s staff. These stories illuminated the human cost of wrongful convictions and the urgent need for criminal justice reform. The campaign leveraged our expansive content creator network to distribute these videos across social media platforms, maximizing engagement and reach.
The campaign achieved 228,000 views in under two weeks, bringing new attention to the cause. The storytelling approach resonated deeply with audiences, elevating the voices of exonerees and driving engagement with the Innocence Project’s mission. The content not only informed viewers but also sparked conversations about the critical need for systemic change, reinforcing the Innocence Project’s role as a leader in justice reform.
